Our engineering team successfully diagnosed and rectified a malfunction in a CR Panoura 15 OPG with Cephalometry system installed at HBS Dental Hospital, Islamabad.
The issue was identified on the cassette side sensors, where four consecutive sensors responsible for detecting cassette position were found misaligned. The remaining two sensors, which handle the reset position after scan completion, were functioning correctly.
The fault was corrected through manual realignment, restoring smooth cassette movement and ensuring stable and accurate panoramic imaging performance.
The machine is now fully operational, delivering high-quality panoramic and cephalometric images for precise dental diagnostics.
